Immaterial Reality

((A/N: Inspired by Jubyphonic's cover of 'A Realistic Logical Ideologist' - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-eMXWAzUlg Anyone else ever think about these sort of things?

Note: The picture below is not mine. All credits goes to its respective Artist. The poem - however - is my own creation.))

~Immaterial Reality~

Reverberating reality
Surrounds us all once again,
Calling for a silent repetition.

Among the blurry crowd of countless forms,
I just walk on forward without a thought in my mind,
Feeling a bit small.

Aspirations and desires,
We chase after them,
But we're never satisfied.

What's the point then,
When it's all ephemeral,
A languishing bloom?

Ah, but reality marches on...

Sitting on a crowded bus,
Thoughts begin to race in the overwhelming silence.

Immaterial life...
Here then gone,
In the span of measured breaths,
It's the same for each and every being,
Isn't it?

Ephemeral life marches on,
Meaningless and void,
Just a simple canvas of white.

Painting conceived thoughts and feelings
From words breathed out,
Taken in and spit out again,
We walk down our immaterial paths,
So many lives insignificant to our own.

Ah, what a strange thing...

Complex,
Transient,
Beautiful,
An incessantly reverberating 'Reality',
But it's all such an illusion.

So, let's paint the void in a bright shade...
